How To Make Fiesta Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken Tacos
Hot stews and pot roasts are just some of the deletcable meals you get out of a slow cooker. It takes a bit of patience but it’s worth every meat-melting bite. You’ll enjoy the cooking as well as the eating with these slow cooker recipes.

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 cup of salsa
- 1/2 cup of diced onions
- 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro
- Juice of 1 lime
- 8 small flour tortillas
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, diced tomatoes, sliced avocado
Instructions

Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken.

Pour salsa, onions, bell peppers, cilantro, and lime juice on top.

Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until chicken is cooked and easily shreds.

Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with a fork.

Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the sauce.

Warm the flour tortillas in a separate pan or in the microwave.

Assemble the tacos by placing a scoop of shredded chicken on each tortilla.
