Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 12 strips of bacon
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.

  2. Toast the bread slices in a toaster or on a stovetop griddle until golden brown.

  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.

  4. Place lettuce leaves on four slices of bread.

  5. Top with bacon strips and tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. Cover with the remaining bread slices, mayo-side down.

  7. Cut the sandwiches diagonally and serve.
