  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 sesame seed buns
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Sliced pickles
  • Thinly sliced onion

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and shape into 8 patties.

  2. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle relish, vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper to make the special sauce.

  3. Preheat grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the beef patties for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Top each patty with a slice of cheese to melt.

  4. Assemble the burgers by spreading the special sauce on the bottom bun, then add lettuce, pickles, onion, and a beef patty with melted cheese. Repeat the layers and cover with the top bun.

  5. Serve the Big Mac Clones immediately and enjoy!
