How To Make Smoked Salmon with Lentil Salad

Ingredients
- 1 cup of lentils
- 2 cups of water
- 1 smoked salmon fillet
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 1/4 cup of sliced red onion
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Rinse the lentils under running water and place them in a pot with 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for about 20 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside.

Preheat your smoker according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Smoke the salmon fillet for about 15-20 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.

In a large bowl, combine the cooked lentils, sliced red onion, chopped dill, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

To serve, divide the lentil salad onto plates and top with a portion of smoked salmon. Garnish with extra dill and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
