How To Make One-Pan Roast Butter Chicken

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large oven-safe skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the sliced onions, minced garlic, and ginger paste. Sauté until the onions are translucent.

In a small bowl, mix together the garam masala, turmeric, cumin, coriander, and paprika.

Add the spice mixture to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and brown them on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Pour in the yogurt, tomato puree, and heavy cream. Stir well to combine.

Season with salt to taste.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
