How To Make Roast Chicken Recipe
Juicy and flavorful roast chicken, perfect for a hearty dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, about 3-4 lbs
- 1 lemon, cut in half
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 3 cloves of garlic, smashed
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, at room temperature
- Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425°F.

Remove the giblets from the chicken and pat the chicken dry with paper towels.

Season generously inside and outside of the chicken with salt and pepper.

Stuff the chicken with the lemon halves and thyme sprigs, and tie the legs together with kitchen string.

Place the chicken breast side up in a roasting pan and spread butter on top of the chicken.

Scatter the smashed garlic around the chicken in the pan.

Roast for 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Let the chicken rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.
