  • 3 1/2 cups of water
  • 1 tbsp of olive oil
  • 1 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

  2. In a large pot, add the rinsed rice, water, olive oil, and salt.

  3. Bring the pot to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to low and cover with a tight-fitting lid.

  4. Cook the rice for 20-25 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.

  5. Remove the pot from the heat and let it sit, covered, for 5 minutes.

  6. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
