- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
-
Rinse the whole chicken under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.
-
In a small bowl, mix together salt, paprika, garlic powder, dried thyme, and dried rosemary.
-
Rub the olive oil all over the chicken, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly all over the chicken.
-
Pour the chicken broth into the pressure cooker.
-
Place the chicken on the trivet or steamer basket inside the pressure cooker, breast-side up.

Close the pressure cooker and set it to high pressure. Cook for 25 minutes per pound of chicken.
-
Once the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then carefully release any remaining pressure.

-
Remove the chicken from the pressure cooker and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
-
Carve the chicken into pieces and serve with your favorite sides.
