Ingredients

  • 8 cannelloni tubes
  • 2 cups of spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Cook the cannelloni tubes according to the package instructions.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  4. Spoon the spinach and cheese mixture into a piping bag or a zip-top bag with the corner snipped off.

  5. Pipe the mixture into the cooked cannelloni tubes and place them in a greased baking dish.

  6. Pour the marinara sauce over the cannelloni.

  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cannelloni is golden and the sauce is bubbly.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
