How To Make Spinach & nutmeg cannelloni

Ingredients

  • 12 cannelloni tubes
  • 2 cups of spinach
  • 1/2 a teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 cup of ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups of tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

  2. Cook the cannelloni tubes according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.

  3. In a large saucepan, wilt the spinach over medium heat. Drain any excess liquid.

  4. In a bowl, mix the spinach, ricotta cheese, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.

  5. Fill each cannelloni tube with the spinach mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.

  6. Pour the tomato sauce over the cannelloni and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

  8. Serve hot and enjoy!
