How To Make Penne Pasta with Peppers

Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 bell peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and peppers and cook until they start to soften, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.

Stir in the tomato sauce, dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.

Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to coat it with the sauce.

Serve the penne pasta with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
