Ingredients

  • 8 ounces macaroni
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

  3. Add the frozen peas and cooked bacon to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the peas are heated through.

  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.

  5. Stir in the cooked macaroni and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the macaroni is coated in the creamy sauce.

  7. Serve hot, garnished with basil leaves.
