Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 eggs
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), parsley, cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

  3. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.

  4. Remove the cooked meatballs from the skillet and set aside.

  5. In the same skillet, crack the eggs and cook until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny, about 3-4 minutes.

  6. Serve the meatballs with the fried eggs on top.
