Ingredients

  • 4 ham hock patties
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 pickles, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or a frying pan over medium heat.

  2. Season the ham hock patties with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes per side, until they are cooked through.

  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.

  5. Spread barbecue sauce on the bottom half of each bun.

  6. Place a cooked ham hock patty on each bun, followed by a slice of cheddar cheese.
