How to Make Beef Kafta
A skewer of this beef kafta recipe will take your taste buds on a journey. Savory ground beef mixed with aromatic spices and grilled for that smoky taste. Enjoy this version of a Lebanese barbecue with your favorite sides!

Ingredients
- ¼ cup parsley
- 1 small yellow onion, quartered
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tsp 7 spice
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp coriander
- ⅛ tsp cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Use the pulse function of a food processor to finely chop parsley. Transfer parsley to a container, and set aside. Then add onions to the food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Drain onions of excess moisture.
- Return the parsley back to the bowl of the food processor with the onions. Add the ground beef to the food processor in addition to all the spices. Run the food processor on pulse once or twice until ingredients are well combined and form a pasty meat mixture.
- Add ground beef, 7 spice, cumin, cinnamon, coriander, and cayenne pepper in the food processor bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Add parsley back in with the other ingredients as well. Pulse once or twice in the food processor until ingredients form a pasty mixture.
- Transfer mixture to a large bowl and form into oblongs about 1 inch in thickness. Forming kafta on a stick or skewer is an option.
- Preheat a gas grill or indoor grill pan to medium high. Grease the grates for cooking. When heated enough place kafta on the grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Serve hot off the grill with preferred sides.
