Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  3. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

  4. Sear the chicken breasts on both sides until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  5. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  6. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

  7. Add the orange zest, lemon zest, orange juice, lemon juice, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.

  8. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them evenly with the citrus mixture.

  9. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
