How To Make Roast Lamb Studded with Rosemary

Ingredients

  • 1 3-pound boneless leg of lamb
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Cut small slits all over the lamb and insert pieces of garlic and rosemary.

  3. Season the lamb with salt and pepper.

  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. Sear the lamb on all sides until browned.

  6. Transfer the lamb to a roasting pan and place in the oven.

  7. Roast for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare.

  8. Let the lamb rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
