How To Make Star Anise and Pear Crisp Recipe

A delicious mixture of seasonal pears and star anise spice topped with a crispy oat and almond crumble.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe pears, sliced
  • 1 tsp of ground star anise
  • 1 tbsp of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup of almond flour
  • 2 tbsp of butter, melted
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. In a large bowl, toss sliced pears with ground star anise and brown sugar.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix together rolled oats, almond flour, melted butter, and vanilla extract until crumbly.

  4. Place sliced pears in a baking dish and sprinkle oat mixture over the top.

  5. Bake for 45 minutes until fruit is tender and topping is golden brown.

  6. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
