How To Make Oregano and Tomato Bruschetta Recipe

A classic Italian appetizer topped with fresh tomato and oregano.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of Italian bread
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp of dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

  2. Cut the Italian bread into 1/2 inch slices.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the chopped tomatoes, minced garlic, oregano, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

  4. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush with a little olive oil.

  5. Place the bread in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.

  6. Remove the bread from the oven and spoon the tomato mixture onto each slice.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy.
