Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh lemongrass
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Stir in the flour, cornstarch, lemongrass, and salt until well combined.

  4. Roll the dough into balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and press them with a fork.

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

  6. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
