Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 leeks, sliced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup pesto sauce
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced leeks and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

  3. Add frozen peas to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  4. Stir in the cooked spaghetti and pesto sauce. Toss until everything is well coated.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  6. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
