Ingredients

  • 3 cups of rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, walnuts)
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, nuts, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, honey, vanilla extract, and the seeds scraped from 1 vanilla bean pod.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until everything is well coated.

  5. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the granola is golden brown and crispy.

  7. Cool completely before serving or storing in an airtight container.
