  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup vodka

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the blackberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.

  3. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes, until the blackberries have softened.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  5. Using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, strain the mixture to remove the seeds and solids.

  6. Stir in the vodka and mix well.

  7. Pour the liqueur into a sterilized bottle or jar and seal tightly.
