How To Make Pear & Berry Pie

Ingredients

  • 2 medium pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
  • 1 package pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the sliced pears, mixed berries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, salt, and lemon juice. Mix well to coat the fruit evenly.

  3. Roll out one pie crust and place it into a pie dish. Pour the fruit mixture into the pie crust.

  4. Dot the fruit mixture with small pieces of butter.

  5. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the fruit filling. Seal the edges and make a few slits on top to allow steam to escape.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
