  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the sliced pears, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.

  3. Pour the pear fruit mixture into the unbaked pie crust and dot with cubes of butter.

  4. Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.

  5. Allow the pie to cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
