- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and softened butter until light and fluffy.

Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.

Fill each cupcake liner 2/3 full with the batter. Add sprinkles on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cupcakes to cool completely before frosting and decorating.
