How To Make Almond Ricotta Cake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 8-inch round cake pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together almond flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together ricotta cheese, eggs, and almond extract until well combined.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Sprinkle sliced almonds over the top of the batter.
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Serve the almond ricotta cake at room temperature or chilled.
