Ingredients

  • 1 cup of mixed nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, and pecans), chopped
  • 1 cup of dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup of almond butter
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a square baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted chocolate, almond butter, honey, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined.

  4. Fold in the chopped nuts until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly using a spatula.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the baking dish.

  8. Once cooled, cut into bars or squares and serve.
