How To Make Lebanese Chicken Shawarma Recipe
Flavorful and tender chicken shawarma packed with Lebanese spices and herbs, served with pita bread and veggies.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 pita breads
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Tahini sauce for serving

In a bowl, combine the yogurt, garlic, cumin, paprika, allspice, cinnamon, salt, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix well.

Add the chicken to the marinade and mix until fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Thread the chicken onto skewers and place them on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through.

Warm the pita breads on the grill for about 2 minutes per side.

Serve the chicken shawarma in the pita breads with the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, parsley, and tahini sauce.
