How To Make Sweet Noodle Kugel Recipe for Rosh Hashanah
A traditional Jewish dessert made with noodles, eggs, and sweet ingredients.

Ingredients
- 8 oz wide egg noodles
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup apricot preserves
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cook noodles according to package directions and drain.

In a large bowl, whisk together butter and eggs. Add sour cream, cottage cheese, sugar, raisins, and cinnamon, and mix well.

Add noodles to the mixture and stir until combined.

Grease a 9-inch square baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on the bottom.

Pour noodle mixture into the dish and spread evenly.

Bake for 45 minutes.

Remove from oven and spread apricot preserves on top.

Return to oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
