How To Make Israeli Falafel Recipe
Crispy and flavorful chickpea balls served with hummus and salad, a popular Middle Eastern street food.

Ingredients
- 1 cup dried chickpeas, soaked overnight
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions

Drain the soaked chickpeas and pat dry with a paper towel.

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking soda, salt, and pepper. Pulse until the mixture turns into a coarse paste.

Shape the mixture into small balls and place on a lined baking sheet.

Heat the oil in a deep-fryer or a frying pan over medium-high heat.
