Ingredients

  • 4 veal cutlets
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Season the veal cutlets with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. Dredge each cutlet in flour, then dip it in the beaten eggs, and coat it with breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to adhere.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

  4. Fry the breaded cutlets for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

  5. Transfer the cooked Wiener Schnitzel to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and your choice of side dishes.
