How To Make Michelle Bernstein’s Yuca Fries Recipe

Delicious and crispy yuca fries served with a garlic aioli dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 large yuca roots, peeled and cut into fry shapes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, toss yuca fries with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  3. Spread fries out on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

  4. While fries bake, make the aioli by combining mayonnaise, minced garlic, and lime juice in a small bowl and mix until smooth.

  5. Serve yuca fries hot with the garlic aioli dipping sauce.
