Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 3 cups of whole milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Melt sugar in a saucepan until golden brown. Pour into 4 ramekins.

  3. In a saucepan, heat milk until bubbles form around the edges.

  4. Whisk eggs and vanilla in a separate bowl.

  5. Add hot milk to egg mixture whisking continuously.

  6. Slowly pour mixture into ramekins.

  7. Place ramekins in a large baking dish filled with water.

  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes.

  9. Let cool, then flip onto a serving dish.
