Ingredients

  • 2 large onions, sliced into thick rings
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. In another bowl, pour buttermilk. Dip onion rings in flour mixture, then in buttermilk, and then in panko breadcrumbs.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pot. Fry onion rings until golden brown.

  4. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
