How To Make Lone Star Texas Sheet Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a baking sheet with butter or cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

In a saucepan, melt butter, cocoa powder, and water together. Bring to a boil, then pour over dry ingredients. Mix well.

Add buttermilk, egg, and vanilla extract to the mixture and stir.
