How To Make In-N-Out Protein Style Burger Recipe
A healthier version of the classic In-N-Out burger with lettuce buns instead of bread and extra protein.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of tomato
- 4 slices of red onion
- 8 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 tbsp of Thousand Island dressing
Instructions

Preheat grill or grill pan.

In a bowl, mix together ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form into patties.

Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side.

Top each patty with two slices of cheddar cheese and let them melt.

Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom of each burger bun.

Place a patty on top of the lettuce, then add a slice of tomato and red onion.

Drizzle each burger with one tablespoon of Thousand Island dressing.

Cover with another lettuce leaf bun on top.
