Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 cups seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper.

  2. In another shallow dish, whisk together the eggs and water.

  3. Place the breadcrumbs in a third shallow dish.

  4. Dip each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and finally the breadcrumbs, pressing the breadcrumbs onto the chicken.

  5. Heat 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  6. Fry the chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
