Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken, spatchcocked
  • 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Rub the chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Place the chicken on the grill, skin side down, and cook for 20-25 minutes until nicely browned.

  4. Flip the chicken and brush with barbecue sauce. Continue cooking for another 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  5. Remove from the grill, let it rest for 5 minutes, and then serve.
