How To Make Spatchcock Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken, spatchcocked
- 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Rub the chicken with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

Place the chicken on the grill, skin side down, and cook for 20-25 minutes until nicely browned.

Flip the chicken and brush with barbecue sauce. Continue cooking for another 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Remove from the grill, let it rest for 5 minutes, and then serve.
