How To Make Easy Banana Nut Pancakes

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.

  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped nuts.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.

  5. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.

  6. Serve the pancakes warm with syrup or additional sliced bananas, if desired.
