How To Make Sourdough Waffles

These crispy waffles have a tangy flavor from the sourdough starter.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sourdough starter
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 2 tbsp of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 4 tbsp of melted butter

Instructions

  1. Mix sourdough starter, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar together in a bowl.

  2. Beat eggs and mix with milk and melted butter.

  3. Combine the egg mixture with the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.

  4. Preheat waffle iron and scoop batter onto iron.

  5. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
