Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tbsp coarse salt

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Add the warm water to the dry ingredients and mix until it forms a dough.

  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.

  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal portions.

  6. Roll each portion into a ball and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, rosemary, and thyme. Brush the rolls with the mixture.

  8. Sprinkle the rolls with the coarse salt. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
