Ingredients
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 2½ teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1½ cups warm water
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions

In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, honey, salt, and olive oil. Mix well.

Pour in the yeast mixture and stir until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf. Place it in a greased bread pan.

Cover the pan with the kitchen towel and let the dough rise again for 30 minutes.
