Ingredients

  • 2 cups tapioca flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil (vegetable or olive oil)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup grated cheese (Parmesan or mozzarella)
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk and oil together until it starts to boil. Then remove from heat.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs.

  4. Gradually add the tapioca flour to the eggs, mixing well after each addition.

  5. Pour the hot milk mixture over the tapioca mixture and stir until well combined.

  6. Fold in the grated cheese and salt, mixing everything together.

  7. Using an ice cream scoop or two spoons, scoop the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space in between.

  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese bread is golden brown on the outside.

  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
