  • 4 slices of crusty baguette
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Brush both sides of the baguette slices with olive oil and place them on a baking sheet.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

  4. In a bowl, mix together the minced garlic, diced tomatoes, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.

  5. Remove the toasted baguette slices from the oven and let them cool slightly.

  6. Spoon the tomato mixture onto each slice of bread.

  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!
