How To Make Venison Shepherd’s Pie Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground venison
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a large skillet, cook venison over medium heat until browned.

Add onion, garlic, carrots, celery, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir until coated.
