How To Make Easy Snickerdoodles

Delight in the sweet spice and aroma of cinnamon and sugar with these soft and chewy snickerdoodles. Prep a batch of these classic cookies in 30 minutes!

Ingredients

  • 2⅔cupsflour
  • 2tspcream of tartar
  • 1tspbaking soda
  • 2tspcinnamon
  • tspsalt
  • 1⅓cupssugar
  • 1cupbutter,softened
  • 2eggs

For Topping:

  • ¼cupsugar
  • 1tbspcinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

  2. Combine the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.

  3. With the mixer on medium, combine the sugar, butter, and eggs. Stir in the flour mixture.

  4. Combine the cinnamon and sugar for topping in a small bowl.

  5. Divide the dough into 32 pieces, then roll each piece into a ball. Roll the balls in cinnamon-sugar mixture.

  6. Place the cookie dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  7. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.

  8. Serve warm with milk, and enjoy!
