How To Make Ursula’s Pumpkin Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 oz. penne pasta
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage leaves
Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a separate saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Stir in the pumpkin puree, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Cook for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the pasta is heated through.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh sage leaves.
