How To Make Butternut & Bacon Fusilli

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fusilli pasta
  • 1 small butternut squash, peeled, seeded, and cubed
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fusilli pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add the cubed butternut squash to the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes until tender.

  4. Add the cooked bacon, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until everything is well combined.

  5. Add the cooked fusilli pasta to the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
