How To Make Chilli-Maple Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the hot sauce, maple syrup, soy sauce, vegetable oil, chili powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Place the chicken wings in a large bowl and pour the chilli-maple glaze over them. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.

  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Reserve any remaining glaze.

  5. Bake the wings for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven and brush with the reserved glaze.

  6. Return the wings to the oven and continue baking for another 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.

  7. Serve the wings hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
